Signals and Systems (EEE307)
There are 2 online courses:
And 3 books:
- Signals and Systems (Oppenheim)
- Discrete-time Signals and Systems (Freeman)
- Linear Systems and Signals (Lathi)
You will realize that "MIT 6.007" and the book "Signals and Systems (Oppenheim)" are the oldest ones, 1-1 mapping between the course and the book, taught in 1986.
The "Modern (Digital)" MIT 6.003 first teaches from Discrete-time Signals and Systems (Freeman), then completes the curriculum using Signals and Systems (Oppenheim), but not according to its chapter order. The Prof. is trying to teach Discrete-time Signals, then show how they are very similar to Continuous-time Signals. This course also emphasizes the Block Diagram, Operator Representation, and System Functional. Read the preface of Discrete-time Signals and Systems (Freeman) to know why.
Signals and Systems (Oppenheim) was hard to read. It's like a reference book. Linear Systems and Signals (Lathi) was better for self-studying.
The curriclum in this website will be a mapping between MIT 6.003 and the books Discrete-time Signals and Systems (Freeman) and Discrete-time Signals and Systems (Freeman).
